NAEYC – What it means to CHP:

- It means we have all of our ducks in a row. We’re up to date on health/safety standards, educational standards, professional development, documentation, administration, communication.
- It’s the gold stamp.
- We’ve reached a standard of quality. The gold standard and it helps everyone.
- We have succeeded in achieving standards put forth by an educational entity that “knows” what’s right and good for childhood education. These standards are very specific and child-focused.
- It has tightened up our program and impressed upon us the importance of things we might not have considered before.
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is dedicated to improving the well-being of all young children, with particular focus on the quality of educational and developmental services for all children from birth through age 8.
