Lizzie received a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and later a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Hunter College.  Prior to joining CHP as both the science teacher and a head teacher in our two's program, Lizzie worked at Greenwich House Music School in Greenwich Village, where she established and taught several learning programs for children from 2 to 8 years old.

In addition to teaching, Lizzie is also a working artist with several shows to her credit. In her spare time she sings traditional music, is a member of the folk society of New York, and attends several music festivals a year. She is a published poet and artist.
